I will show you what you need to do based on your unique background, interests and learning style. Also I will show you, more importantly how to practice to gain the skills you desire. We all need a solid foundation. I will help you build or expand your foundation in bass playing all while playing the music that you love!
My experience as a bass teacher over the years has shown me more than ever before how personal a musical path really is. I have taken great care to respect my students personal path and to help them feel as comfortable as possible while reaching their music goals.
Over time, my student grows into who they are as an artist and moves to a point where they no longer need my knowledge and support. Then I begin the whole process all over again. It is truly a pleasure and honor for me.

Alison performs in more than 100 shows a year with her own group, The Alison Keslow Group as well as collaborates with other artists. Ashe has performed with, shared album credits and supported artists such as Victor Wooten, Joan Armatrading, Jerry Marotta, Tony Levin, John Sebastian and Mindi Abair. Alison earned her BM. from Berklee College of Music and her MM. from Boston University.
