A flower, a butterfly, messengers of patience and change. The keepers of transformation. For without change, we cannot grow wings.

Here’s a question for you.
“What do you really care about, and how will you bring more of that into your life?”
Or maybe this is a better question.
“What would you have fun doing more often?
I’ve been taking two hour walks on the newly paved rail trails in my town. It feels so peaceful. Keeping myself active helps breathe new energy into my work and relationships. However, then reality sets in and I think, “I really should get back to my creative projects with my free time.”
I feel when I live in a flow state, and do as much as I can to stay there, my life unfolds naturally and in alignment with all areas. I’m better able to deal with the ups and downs of life we all have.
I’ll tell you something else...
I don’t watch the news! People used to give me a lot of flack for it but now they are beginning to understand. Sometimes we feel it’s our duty to consume bad news so we “stay informed” , but we don’t!

Recently I recorded vocals to a Jaco Pastorius cover I played bass on. The other musicians are Dennis Hughes- keys and Mike Connors – drums. The lyrics are by Flora Purim who wrote them after Jaco passed. This song is for anyone who is missing someone.
